Are you chasing a qualification?

Well, qualifications refer to a set of curricula designed to address a knowledge area. This qualification is accompanied by an endorsement from an educational institution. Some examples include a Diploma in Business Administration, Bachelor of Science in Computing and many more.

Obtaining a skill can be achieved in multiple ways. It can be part of the curriculum in a qualification, on-the-job training provided by apprenticeship, or short courses conducted online or face to face.

So, what makes you stand out for employment?

In the past employers are looking for a qualification to ascertain if the candidate possesses the skill required. Nowadays, candidates are asked to do a pre-interview test and provide portfolios which are proof of work.
