Web3 is often described as the next-generation web, or the Internet 3.0. But what differentiates Web3 from its predecessors?

At the fundamental level, Web1 was all about connecting us to the information scattered across the internet, which gave rise to the dot-com boom. That evolved into Web2 which connected people that allows them to form interest-based communities via social media platforms.

With Web3, it is all about connecting people, resources, and data. With the integration of machine learning and artificial intelligence, Web3 will fundamentally change how we work, live and play – physically or virtually.
