Trends in Education
There is a strong push for workplace learning and this resulted in short-term courses which provide training in specific skill areas. This is also known as bitesize learning. The demand for qualifications over a long period is in the decline. Employers are looking for candidates with professional certifications and relevant (up-to-date) short course certifications to do the work.
Reinvent Learners
Learners need to have an attitude toward learning and reinvent themselves by aligning their mindset with the industry demand. Relearn, learn and keep abreast of relevant skills which are necessary for the intended job role. Only by continuous learning, they will be able to stay afloat and renew their contribution to the organization.
